Chicken Tandoori Tacos
I absolutely love when Praveena and I get a chance to just hangout and cook together. The only thing that makes it an even better time (besides cocktails) is when our husbands decide to hang around the kitchen and get involved in the mix of what is going down. They make things interesting because they have an opinion, but yet they say that they do not. So all of a sudden they have a spice recommendation or a cooking temp suggestion, usually followed by a nonchalant comment while they sip a new whiskey that they are taste testing. Sometime soon Praveena and I will have to do a post just on whisky and what it pairs well with (at our houses anyway). While meal planning and chatting one night a phenomenal chicken taco recipe was born and it is a true group collaboration. This dish is flavorful, fun, and delicious while at the same time being an entire household pleaser. Everyone from grandmother to toddler was able to personalize their tacos and control their own spice level. In our houses we call this a major win! We hope that your family enjoys these tacos as much as our’s did. Side note, this recipe may seem like there are a lot of ingredients and that it might be tricky, but that is not the case at all. If we can make this meal for all nine of us while looking after four children you can make it too. Happy cooking friends!
